The Falling Away

By Gail Payne

When will the end come?

I have, for a long time now, avoided any confrontation with those who believe that Yahushua is the YHWH of the Old Testament.  I don't really mean confrontation, I mean, more like, I have never publically come all the way out and said what I believe for fear of alienating some very dear brethren. But now  I feel that we are so very close to the restoration and return of Yahushua to set things right, that I must begin to speak out and proclaim that:

Yahushua is NOT the YHWH of the Old Testament. Yahushua was a human being, of the seed of David. He now sits at the right hand of YHWH, and will come very soon to bring a sword to the enemies of YHWH, and peace and a righteous Kingdom to the servants of YHWH who keep the Torah and believe his words.  Yahushua is the Messiah, anointed King of Israel- upheld by YHWH. The perfect servant. The perfect Judge. The perfect King of all Kings.

HalleluYAH!

Our brother Shaul believed that Yahushua and the end of all things would not come until a certain falling away occurred, and a person was revealed pretending to be YHWH.   That person is being revealed in these times, and he is Jesus, the god of the Christian Church.   We must be very very careful not to set a godman up in the place where only YHWH must be placed.  Yahushua is at the right hand of YHWH, but Yahushua is NOT YHWH, nor is Yahushua greater than YHWH.     Falling away from this false doctrine, which is the very last thing that should happen before Yahushua returns, is beginning right now.

There are many people who are finding that this falling away is not easy for a number of reasons. First, once you have believed that Yahushua is YHWH, how can you go back to seeing him as a man who was appointed his position of authority at the right hand of YHWH? Second, even if you see the fuzziness of the scriptures used to support a godman theology,  and you begin to question this to your church or discuss it with your family members, you will be met with an attitude of contempt-the shaking of the head.   To have this kind of falling away is the most difficult experience you will ever go through, like the last of the labor pains before a child is born. You may be hated by your friends, family and church leaders. You may be labeled a heretic. You may be excommunicated and scorned. You will find that this doctrine is the absolute pinnacle of the Christian Church, and even of most Messianic Assemblies.  But this falling away, and the revealing of this one who sits as YHWH is just what Shaul said must happen before Yahushua comes.

“…Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, and our gathering together to him, we ask you not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Messiah had come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction, he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called Elohim or that is worshiped; so that he sits as Elohim in the temple of Elohim, setting himself up as Elohim….”  2 Thes 2:1-4

The temple of Elohim is among the believers – THEY are the Temple of YHWH, according to Shaul, because they are where the Spirit of YHWH now dwells.

1Cr 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of Elohim, and [that] the Spirit of Elohim dwelleth in you?

So this man of sin,  Jesus, who condones that the Torah has been done away and his followers no longer regard the Law of YHWH as valid, is God of the world to the Christians. Jesus is the man of sin,  or lawlessness, who is being revealed to be the opposite of the true Jewish Messiah. Jesus did away with the law, according to Christian leaders, but Yahushua the Messiah kept it and condemned anyone who taught that it should not be followed. Jesus was God, Yahushua the Messiah never said anything of the sort of himself. He humbled himself always BEFORE YHWH. Over and over he said YHWH was above him.  I believe him, and I believe Moses too, who said that Yahushua would be a man:

Deu 18:15 YHWH thy Elohim will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

The Man of Sin IN the Temple Today

But what is Jesus also, that Christians will practically stone anyone who claims otherwise?  Elohim?   God?   But we, those of us who see Jesus for the man of sin that he is, are falling away.  We are seeing that the Jesus whom Christianity is passing off as the prophesied Messiah is contrary to Elohim and opposes Elohim in every way, just as Shaul said the man of sin would do.

Enlightened as we may now feel, seeing Jesus for what he really is, we have not completely fallen away from the teachings of the Christian church if we are still holding that  the true Messiah Yahushua  is YHWH.  That is how the man of sin is still sitting IN the Temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.

Jesus is the OPPOSITE of Yahushua in every way-  Jesus is the Antimessiah.

We cannot sit in the middle of the fence,  If YHWH be Elohim, worship Him! But if Jesus, then worship him! Remember what EliYah the prophet said? Worship either the True Elohim, YHWH, or worship the false one, Baal.

WE are the Temple of Elohim.  But, if we hold that Yahushua Messiah is Elohim, we have not yet broken the strong yoke of Jesus the lawless one. We are still not completely fallen away from the doctrines of the Church- that Jesus is "God the Son".   If we believe that Yahushua is just like Jesus in that regard, we also oppose YHWH, for he told us not to worship him in any human, animal or plant similitude.  Deut 4:15-19

Did YHWH ever say in the Torah, Prophets and Writings that he would appear in a human body to mankind, so to prepare to expect something he once forbade? Not to my knowledge. Did he at any time forbid them to think of him with a human form?  YES! He expressly forbade them through Moses never to make a graven image in the likeness of male or female, or to try to give Him a human form. With that warning in their minds, can any Jew ever be expected to accept that YHWH became a man, and that we are to worship him in the image of a man? I'm not even Jewish, and the idea just sends shivers up my spine!  YHWH alone is to be worshipped. That is the truth that resounds throughout the entire Bible!

Let us begin with the Commandments:
Exd 20:1 And Elohim spake all these words, saying,
Exd 20:2 I [am] the YHWH thy Elohim, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exd 20:3 Thou shalt have no other Elohim before me.
Exd 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exd 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the YHWH thy Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;
Exd 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

First He tells us we are not to have any Elohim BEFORE him. This would mean above, or equal to him.  He alone is number one. ONE. The First.

Second, He tells us we are not to make any graven image or likeness of ANYTHING that is in heaven, earth, or sea, or bow to them or serve them.

We have not made likenesses of Yahushua to bow to them, but is it right to THINK of YHWH, to worship Him with a form of a man in our minds?  He told Israel not to make a likeness of ANYthing, but this also means Israel is not to IMAGINE that YHWH is in the form of anything either, never  to worship the creation- man’s form included.  Remember what Yahushua said about adultery? How that even to imagine it was a sin? What harm is there in looking upon another man's wife with lustful eyes? It means that adultery is crouching at the door.- residing in the heart. So what harm is there in forming a human image of YHWH with one's mind? Or holding that human being was the almighty? It means that idolotry is crouching at the door-idolotry resides in the heart. We aren't to imagine the act of adultery, according to Yahushua. Wouldn't that apply to imagining what YHWH forbade through Moses- imagining YHWH has a shape of a man or woman? When there is a sin in the heart, the Ruach Ha Qodesh (Set apart Spirit) cannot live there. This means, if we have some image in our hearts (We are the Temple, our heart is the place where ONLY YHWH should ever rule), if we have the image of a human being in that place where we serve the Most High, the Most Set Apart Place is corrupt.

Please read the following passages carefully:

Deu 4:15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves;  for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that YHWH spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
Deu 4:16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
Deu 4:17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
Deu 4:18 The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
Deu 4:19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which YHWH thy Elohim hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

FOR YE SAW NO MANNER OF SIMILITUDE!!!  Take heed, you did not see a shape of anything when YHWH spoke to you out of the midst of the fire,

LEST YE CORRUPT YOURSELVES, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, MALE OR FEMALE!

Clearly YHWH does not want us to envision him as any human being.  What Torah Observant Jewish man, woman or child would be able to do a complete 180 and instead of the taboo of imagining a shape for YHWH, embrace the image of YHWH as a man? Our Messiah was a Jewish man, schooled in the Torah from a young age. If he was presenting such a radical idea to his disciples, wouldn't it be quite plain?  The religious leaders were always accusing him of calling himself the Son of YHWH , and that was blasphemous to them. Of course, they were wrong about a lot of things, and to say it is blasphemous to make oneself the Son of YHWH is one of those errors they made. When did he ever speak any words that they could outright kill him for? He didn't!  So I guess it is safe to say he never really commited blasphemy- which calling one's self YHWH would certainly have been.

I don't believe Yahushua ever said that because even to him, a Jewish man, it was a blasphemous idea to make oneself equal with YHWH. It is engrained in every devout jew from nearly birth- his disciples would have been pretty much stoned too, if they were saying he was YHWH. Instead, they proclaimed him to be Messiah- and he agreed with them. Not one time did Yahushua say to anyone " I am YHWH Elohim".   If he said it, I would believe it. But he did not.  We must be very carefull, this is idolotry we are tip toeing around.

The more I study, the more I realize that it was a very Greek thing to do, make a man into a god, or give a god a man's body. The idea would never have come from a Jewish man. It had to have come from a Greek theological point of view. If I have learned anything about Christianity, it is that mythology over rules the truth. Can virgin births and godmen be found in Greek or Roman (or Egyptian or Babylonian) mythology?  Certainly- just like easter eggs, tree worship, and the trinity.

So I don’t understand why YHWH, after making it clear how taboo it is to worship Him like the heathen do, or to worship him in the shape or similtude of anything he created (male or female), WHY would he come to earth "clothed in flesh", and expect those following the Torah to suddenly begin to worship him in the form of a man? Its so hard for me to believe our Father would do something so much against His own commandments- and expect us to turn around and ignore the things we have learned.

To the Law and to the Testimony......

Ask your Father in heaven to show you!! If Jesus is the man of sin, (and we know that Jesus is the Christian God)- and  he is still sitting in the Temple (Body and heart/mind of the believer) of Elohim, showing himself that HE IS ELOHIM, is there any danger here?  His Son, Our Messiah, should not bear any resemblance to the man of sin, who proclaims himself to be YHWH.  For the man of sin, and all that he is , opposes and exalts himself against (in the place of) YHWH. The "Anti-Messiah" is the "instead of" Messiah. The spirit of Anti Messiah is a mindset that is contrary to the true Messiah.  The Word is very clear that there is a Father, and a Son. The Word is not clear and does not readily teach that YHWH became a human being. It says He put his Spirit UPON a human being, and that human being is his anointed, the Messiah Yahushua.

We need to pray for the strength to break free from this last stronghold the man of sin (Jesus)  has on us.  This will empower the true beleivers, because all idolotry will begin to fall away.  This is the last thing holding back the revealing of the Sons and Daughters of YHWH, and the coming of the Messiah in Glory.     Fall away,  flee idolotry.  There is only ONE YHWH, and he has a son named Yahushua!

Pass it on!!!!!!!
