My Story

Greetings to all visitors, my name is J.R I will introduce myself and my story. I am a young man who came to know the Messiah in 1997. I was originally raised in the Church of G-d in Christ with my mother for a few years.  After that we attended church no longer and I lived the life of a typical teenager.  Upon being set free by the blood of Messiah I started attending a Non-Denominational church.

After 4 1/2 years of attendance I began to thirst and hunger for more in G-d.  This led me to having different ideas for reaching the souls of men and women and having various questions. It was here that I first began to see my church for what it really was, a mind controlling cult.  Don't get me wrong we did not practice strange beliefs that were unorthodox in the "Christian" faith but it was very mind-controlling and not very patient with those who would question it's way of doing things.  It practiced information, emotion, mind, and behavior control and I don't know if they even realize that.

It was when I questioned our famous (made equal to salvation itself) doctrine of "unknown tongues" as the sole evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit that I was giving the left hand of non-fellowship.  I was looked at differently for merely questioning the doctrine.  The pastor used scare tactics to convince me that I was on my way to apostasy.  This issue was also a major contributing factor to my wife's divorcing me.  I was originally the pastor's right hand man (even above the other certified ministers) and the best member in the church but now I was immediately seen as deceived of Satan.

This G-d worked together for the good as it led me to study the issue of "unknown tongues" to the most extreme one could go.  The results was a book I written on the subject proving the doctrine as erroneous.  By this my eyes were opened to the need for one to study the Scriptures by what the Scriptures say alone!  By doing this, one by one the traditional doctrines of Xtianity fell and were shown to be erroneous, false, or/and Anti-Scripture/Anti-Messiah.  This has now been a awesome journey since December 2001.  G-d indeed delivered me from modern Babylon and her wine of confusion.

My personal statement of faith is the following:

*I believe in the Sh'ma of Yisrael.

1. I believe in YHVH Elohim as the one and ONLY true G-d. I do not accept any Trinity, Bi-enity, or Pentecostal style oneness.

2. I believe that Yeshua HaMashiach is the prophesied Meshiach (Messiah) of the Tanakh

3. I believe in all Scriptures and reject the common mentality of making light of the Tanakh (OT). I believe the Tanakh is the Scriptures and that the Brit Chadasha (NT) is an inspired commentary of the Tanakh.  The emissaries (apostles) and early believers studied/read/and lived by the Tanakh as they did not posses a full copy of the Brit Chadasha.

4. I believe in obedience to Torah today, not to gain righteousness but because we have been given righteousness.

5. I believe in the soon return of Yeshua to establish the Kingdom of (from) Shamayim (Heaven) on EARTH.

6. I believe the correct names of the Father and Meshiach are YHVH Elohim and Yeshua HaMeshiach (the Messiah).

7. I do not follow any particular group, that's including 7th Day Adventist, Church of G-d 7th Day, Sacred Name Groups, Messianic Judaism, Rabbinical Judaism, Jehovah Witnesses, or any other group.

I do reject:

The notion that Meshiach is G-d or equal to HIM

The notion that Torah has been abolished

The notion of a pre-tribulation rapture

The notion of going to Shamayim after death

The notion that "Jesus" was his real name.

"Come out of her my people that you don't be partakers of her sins and that you don't receive her plagues."

Revelation 18:4
